Camera integration of Baudisch Intercom with ProCall Enterprise
With the direct video integration of the Baudisch CP-Cam in ProCall Enterprise, users benefit from improved communication, starting at the company door.
With Baudisch Intercom's door phones, you can see directly from the workplace who is standing in front of the company door and welcome your visitor before they enter the building. In combination with ProCall Enterprise from estos, you can open the door directly by clicking on the PC or by pressing a key combination on the phone.
Video integration can be implemented either into the existing PBX or via integration into a UC solution. The video data from the CP-CAM, for example, can be accessed directly via the IP network, independently of a voice connection or the SIP server. Through integration with ProCall Enterprise from estos, a window pops up directly at the PC workstation, showing the user who is standing in front of the door.
Baudisch Intercom and estos have been offering companies solutions for improved communication for decades, saving time and simplifying processes. In this joint integration, users benefit from a flexible SIP connection from the video door intercom to ProCall Enterprise. The video call from the door is displayed directly as a pop-up on the user's Windows workstation.
The camera image must be available either via a stream or as a single image via a web interface.
The image should not be wider than approximately 220 pixels or automatically scalable.
The doorbell must be indirectly monitored with TAPI. This means that when you press the bell the telephone system must be set up in such a way that an incoming call from a specific extension (number) is signaled via TAPI to a ProCall user.
The customer/manufacturer must provide a URL path that can display this stream/single image directly in Internet Explorer. This means that no login mask appears and that no plugins (Java etc.) are required.
After the installation of the Baudisch.CP-CAM, for example in the form of a CompleteSteel-Intercom (pictured left), a contact with a recognizable name (example: "Door opener") must be created. This user and the IP address of the camera are then integrated into the program, which means that the camera is ready for use.
A requirement for the perfect integration of the Baudisch.CP-CAM in ProCall Enterprise from estos is a firmware of V4.8 or higher. This can be downloaded free of charge on the Baudisch Intercom page.
